Learn to Become an MLM Leader and Host Effective MLM Leadership Training

MLM leadership training is an educational process that should teach an mlm distributor how to duplicate the teachings of the most successful people in their mlm organization. The ongoing problem that many business opportunity seekers is, they haven’t created any substantial success themselves in order to feel confident in teaching others to become successful.

There is an underlying problem with the network marketing and MLM leadership training programs today, in that they do not teach the new or unsuccessful the elements of becoming successful within, before they create the success outside themselves in the business. Imagine for a moment that you have just signed on to an MLM opportunity and your upline said,

“With this pay plan, you could be turning over $10K per month in profits! I’ll show you how to get there.”

Your obvious question to that person would be, “How much do you make each month?”

Due to certain laws, that is an answer they are not permitted to give you and most people wouldn’t share that information with you anyway. I want you to think for a moment, and seriously think about this and write down your answers; what statements of hyped up claims have you been told in the past that made the whole situation seem too scammy to you? You remember, when someone was trying to recruit you into a business opportunity, what can you recall that made you feel like they did not have your best interest at heart but simply wanted to make a sale?

Take a moment and write down a few of the things that you have been told.

Now that you have that in place, how many of these statements can you recall making YOURSELF to other people you were attempting to recruit into your business?

Can you see how this would make people feel? The sad reality is, most MLM and network marketing leadership training systems are there to give you these easy to say, hyped up claims (or a script) instead of teaching you what it takes to be a true leader.

Let’s start simple by walking through what it is you need, in order to begin to achieve.

1. The Core of Your Desires

If you could accomplish anything in the world, to make your life more rewarding and fulfilling, what would that be? Could you use the information on how to do that? If so, what would you do with that information once you had it?

This is the foundational work of achieving your desires and becoming passionate about moving forward and taking action in your life and your MLM business.

I know, some would say, “This is just a bunch of hoakey psychological mumbo jumbo.” But, it’s not. This is getting into the inner workings of you, the average MLM distributor, in order to understand what it takes to commit to effective MLM leadership training. It will also allow you to dig in and see what has been holding you back from succeeding. Everytime I go through this process with one of my students, I get the excuses. You know, the excuses YOU are mentally giving me right now?

“I don’t live somewhere where I can talk to a lot of people.” or, “How can I recruit if I’ve never made any money from this?” or, “I’m OK with me… I just need to make some money from this.” or, “I don’t have the money to do any marketing or advertising for this.”

Can you see how these thoughts can be cluttered time and again?

You must take a stand to enhance your own life. Outside circumstances are not at fault for your results. It is YOU who allows these things to affect your life… it is simply a choice to move beyond them and to take action in a different direction.

2. The Core of Your Market’s Desires

With the assignment in step one, do you now have a complete understanding of who you are, what you want and what has been holding you back? If not, take more time with that. Be honest, no one else can hear what you are thinking. Get down and dirty and ask yourself the tough questions and then, admit to your faults and commit to not sabotaging yourself any longer.

Understanding the core of your market’s desires is an essential stage of Mlm leadership training. Here’s the best part; if you’ve already figured out the core of your own desires… do you really think anyone else who is just starting out or hasn’t been successful is any different than you are? Of course not. So, now you have the inside scoop. You could almost read their minds and be in complete harmony with their thoughts. When people ask you the questions that seem as if they are fighting your knowledge, ask them questions and simply… listen.

Hold them accountable. If I were to ask you, “Bill, what is it that you like about the network marketing or MLM industry?” and the answer you gave me was, “I know I can get rich doing it, as long as someone showed me how!”

Here would be my response to that, “So, you want someone to teach you to become rich?”. Some folks would answer yes to that question, but most would say, “No… it’s not that, I just need to know how to get people signed up to my business opportunity in order to grow my business.”

My response would be, “So, if you were taught to recruit and keep people on your team, you’d begin to build a successful MLM business?”

My next question in response to the obvious “YES” I would get from the last would be, “So, what you truly would like to learn is how to help other people become effective leaders within the MLM industry?”

3. What’s Right with Your MLM Business?

I know, it was fairly abrupt to leave that last question unanswered… but that is for YOU to complete.

We spend so much time focused on what’s going wrong in our lives, it’s rare if we focus on what’s right. When you are recruiting people into your business opportunity and you continuously use negative thoughts to get them to answer questions, can you guess what type of people you are going to attract into your business?

By flipping our method of asking questions to the positive, we simply allow people to explore the possibilities of making what’s good in their lives, even better. Psychologically, if people are focused on making the good better, their subconscious mind doesn’t allow for room to focus on the things that are not right in their lives. It only sees what they can do to do things better. Therefore, it’s simply focused on positive thoughts. In turn, if your prospect’s mind is focused on the positive because of the questions YOU have been asking… how do you think they now feel about you?

With that in mind, if they are feeling a positive relationship with you at the moment, do you think they may be thinking of what a positive experience it would be to work with you?

Of course they would. So, using the socratic method; if your prospect is focussing on what’s right and how to make that better, they have a positive experience with you and a vision of what it would be like to work with you on a continuous basis… and they understand that your products are of quality and use… how quickly do you think they would be compelled to sign on under you?
